Myne wakes in a world where books are scarce and her frail body keeps her from doing most ordinary work. With Lutz, she experiments with writing materials, paper, and small businesses, while the Devouring forces her family to confront how little time she may have. Her search for a way to keep reading leads her to the temple and changes the life she had known in the lower city.

As a blue-robed apprentice shrine maiden, Myne gains access to the temple library but inherits duties, servants, and enemies along with it. She turns the orphanage and temple workshops toward bookmaking, develops printing with her merchant allies, and becomes entangled in noble attempts to control her mana. Protecting her family ultimately makes a quiet continuation of her old life impossible.

Now living as Rozemyne, the adopted daughter of Ehrenfest's archduke, Myne must balance noble education, temple work, printing, and the safety of the people who raised her. Her projects spread through the duchy while factional conflict closes in around her family and retainers. The scale of her bookmaking ambitions grows at the same time as the political cost of her position.
Season 4: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke ends here
After a long sleep, Rozemyne enters the Royal Academy and finds a library large enough to redirect all of her priorities. Her studies, library work, rituals, and efforts to extend printing bring her into contact with students and rulers from across the duchies. What begins as a school term becomes a wider dispute over knowledge, succession, and Ferdinand's future.
With Ferdinand gone and the political order under strain, Rozemyne works to protect Ehrenfest while pursuing the knowledge needed to change the kingdom. Royal authority, rival duchies, ancient records, and the gods draw her into conflicts far beyond bookmaking. The completed main story follows those conflicts through their resolution and the founding of a new library city.
