Privacy
Arc Almanac has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no cookies of its own. It is a static site. Your browser still contacts a few services to show it, and those services can see your IP address and what your browser sends them.
The host
Netlify serves the site. Like any web host, it receives each request: your IP address, the page, your browser's user agent and the referring page. SeeNetlify's privacy policy.
Key art from AniList
Series pages and the series list load key art directly from AniList's image server. The request sends no referrer, but AniList sees your IP address. See AniList's terms and privacy policy.
Comments
Series pages and the About page load comments from giscus, which shows GitHub Discussions. Loading them contacts giscus and GitHub. Signing in to comment gives giscus a GitHub token, which it keeps in your browser. Comments are public on GitHub and are covered byGitHub's privacy statement.
What your browser stores
When you pick the last season you watched, your browser remembers it for that series in local storage, so the spoiler guard stays set on later visits. It never leaves your device. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.
Links out
Publisher, retailer and source links go to other sites with their own policies. None of them are affiliate links.
