At Fuji High, Saku Chitose sits at the top of the class caste with a circle of friends everyone already watches. His teacher asks him to pull a classmate who has shut himself in back to school, and the work of getting Kenta Yamazaki through the door shows how much of Saku's easy life is performance.

2Fake love

Yuzuki Nanase asks Saku to date her. The request is a cover: someone may be following her, and a fake couple is the safest way she can move through school. Playing the part pulls both of them closer to the truth she has been managing alone.

3Asuka

A third-year who reads by the riverbank starts meeting Saku as if the outings were dates. Graduation and a writing career in Tokyo sit on the other side of summer, and he has to decide what it costs to keep walking beside her until she leaves.

4Haru^*

July brings Inter-High preliminaries and a new basketball captain. Watching teammates fight for a future he walked away from puts Saku back in front of the baseball club that still wants him, and in front of Haru Aomi's own unfinished season.

5Summer^*

Study camp, fireworks, and a stretch of vacation that is supposed to be ordinary days with Team Chitose. One confession scatters the group, and the person who goes after Saku is not the one the class had already paired with him.

6September^*

After summer, the class starts work on Fuji High's festival season: an outdoor fair, sports day, and the cultural festival in a row. A first-year, Kureha Nozomi, joins the prep with a third-year Saku already knows, and nobody wants to knock the group off the balance it just recovered.

7Cultural festival^*

Class Five's play casts Yuuko as Snow White and Yuzuki as a witch with a mirror, and Saku as the prince who has to choose. The three festival days put every club and every leftover feeling on a stage that will not wait for him to stay undecided.
