Every arc, in brief
2Dreams and the Usuba family*
Miyo studies etiquette with Kiyoka’s sister as nightmares erode her health. The search for their cause draws the couple into the affairs of her mother’s family and tests the future they want to share.

3The Kudou family villa*
An invitation to the Kudou villa brings Miyo face to face with her future in-laws. As she tries to win their acceptance, Kiyoka investigates a supernatural threat near the estate.
4A friend in the military*
Threats from the Gifted Communion lead Kiyoka to arrange protection for Miyo at his workplace. Her growing friendship with her bodyguard becomes entangled with the danger facing the unit.
5The imperial palace*
As the Gifted Communion gains influence, Miyo is moved to the imperial palace for safety. Separation from Kiyoka and the spread of unrest place new pressure on their relationship.
6The rescue*
With Kiyoka imprisoned, Miyo searches for allies and a way to reach him. Her family’s history and her own abilities become central to the confrontation with Usui.

7The wedding*
Miyo and Kiyoka prepare for their wedding after the conflict with the Gifted Communion. A sudden mission takes Kiyoka away as the ceremony approaches, leaving Miyo to await his return.
8The Old Capital*
Miyo and Kiyoka visit the Old Capital as newlyweds and meet the Miyakouji family. Their hoped-for holiday becomes complicated by people who take an interest in Miyo’s power.
9The Earth Spider*
The couple continues investigating the Earth Spider during their Old Capital trip. A story heard at a temple gives them a new lead connecting an old legend with the mystery they face.
