A high-schooler who only finishes broken "trash" games is talked into trying Shangri-La Frontier, a glitch-free VR hit with tens of millions of players. He skips the tutorial, fights in a bird mask and swim shorts, and is marked by a unique wolf no one has beaten. That curse locks him out of ordinary armour, opens a hidden rabbit country, and puts him on a raid to let an unbeaten tomb guardian rest.
After the tomb raid, the three trash-game friends start a clan, chase a broken relic from the Age of Divinity, and take a detour into a mech arena for a lead on another unique. The hunt runs them back into the wolf that cursed the bird-mask player, this time with allies who have their own reasons to be there.

A tip from the mech game points at the unique of the abyss. Boarding a pirate ship for that quest drops the party into a city that runs upside down, with a week on the clock. In the real world the same week is a fighting-game tournament against professionals, so the raid and the stage have to share the same players.
Season 2 ends here
Two uniques are down, and the game's world story shifts to a dragon war in the west. The new wolf clan and the established Lycagon hunters start scoring the same battlefield, while a curse tied to a serpent unique pulls the bird-mask player onto a rabbit-nation front line.
The next country starts at a first town and a hunter built for it. Players push into land the earlier maps did not cover, and the 章 ends on an epilogue that pairs a dragon king with a black dragon.
With fire still in their chests, the same hunters run farther through dragon country. The stretch closes on an epilogue about setting foot again on land they had already walked.
A whale that swallows heaven and earth opens a hunt through an older legacy. The 章 ends when the people who went out through Tannhäuser Gate come back.
A space-guerrilla scenario takes the bird-mask player off the fantasy map and into a different kind of game. This first half ends on a morning-red that follows a divine image.
The evening-red half reaches the image the morning-red was following. It does not put a revenge fire out until the work that feeds it is finished.
A face in shaking water starts a snake 章. The hunters who look into that surface have to decide what they are fighting for, and the stretch ends when the sun rises.
A prologue tells the player to shout their name. The current stretch is still a letter to their own dawn; twenty-eight parts of that letter were up as of July 2026, and the web novel was still updating.
