What happens
Before Monica's mission, Louis Miller is the feared problem student of Minerva's mage school: brilliant, rude, and determined to become someone worth marrying. The prequel follows the friends and teachers who stay with him, the selection that makes him a Sage, and the silent prodigy who appears at the end of that road.
