Rascal Does Not Dream on your wiki
Four pages give any MediaWiki wiki, Fandom included, the same tables as this site. They render on the server with Lua, so the wiki needs no JavaScript and no iframe.
Install
The current bundle is version 2026-09-19. The version is the date of the last change to this series' data.
- Check that the wiki has the Scribunto and TemplateStyles extensions. Fandom and wiki.gg have both.
- Create each of the four pages below with its exact title, and paste the text from its box. The renderer, template and styles are shared: if the wiki already has them from another series, only add the data module.
- Put a table on any page with one of these lines.
{{AdaptationGuide|franchise=rascal-does-not-dream|view=arcs}}- Shows every arc, with the units each work spends on it.
{{AdaptationGuide|franchise=rascal-does-not-dream|view=after-season}}- Shows where each book format picks up after every season.
{{AdaptationGuide|franchise=rascal-does-not-dream|view=coverage}}- Shows the coverage chart as a colored table.
{{AdaptationGuide|franchise=rascal-does-not-dream|view=arc|arc=bunny-girl-senpai}}- Shows one arc in every work and edition; use any arc id from the data module.
If you edit the data module by hand, set modified = true in it. The credit line then says the data was modified, as CC BY 4.0 asks.
Every table ends with this credit line, added by the renderer:
Data: Rascal Does Not Dream adaptation guide (version 2026-09-19) by Arc Almanac contributors, licensed CC BY 4.0. Report a correction.
Wiki tables have no season picker, so arcs flagged as spoilers show as “Arc N” there.
Module:AdaptationGuide
The renderer. The same for every series; paste it once per wiki.
Module:AdaptationGuide/data/rascal-does-not-dream
This series' data. Generated; replace it when a new version comes out.
Template:AdaptationGuide
The template editors call. The same for every series.
Template:AdaptationGuide/styles.css
TemplateStyles for the tables. The same for every series.
What changed since each earlier version
If your wiki shows an older version in its credit line, these are the changes since then, newest first.
19 Sep 2026 (current)
- Split Doctor Pig into three chapters from the Kadokawa store 目次; leave spine placement for Elliott.
18 Sep 2026
- Hotlink key art from AniList instead of storing copies
- added rascal does not dream
The same data is also available as JSON and as a version stamp that a bot can check.
