What happens
Coco has always wanted to become a witch, even though she was taught that magic belongs only to those born with the gift. After secretly watching Qifrey cast a spell, she learns that magic is drawn with tools and symbols, but her first attempt petrifies her mother. Qifrey takes Coco in as an apprentice, where her first lesson becomes a test of whether ingenuity can carry her through a dangerous labyrinth.
